An original proposal that combines a guided tour of the Accademia Gallery in Venice to discover the Dorsoduro district, a zone generally not included in the Venetian tourist itineraries, but with a long history and great charm.
The tour will start with the Accademia Gallery, Venice one of the most famous Venetian museums, located in the heart of the Dorsoduro in Venice, in Italy, at the foot of the Accademia Bridge. ( included Skip the Line entrance).
During the visit to the Accademia Gallery in Venice, the guide will explain the main works housed inside the museum, offering an interesting overview of the Veneto and Venetian paintings from 1300 to 1700s: Giovanni Bellini, Vittore Carpaccio, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Tiziano, Veronese.
After the visit to the Accademia Gallery, the tour continues with a guided walk through the Dorsoduro district, during which you will delve deeper into some new areas of the city on water.
You will also walk through Campo San Barnaba, the Ponte dei Pugni, and the St Sebastian area.
The itinerary in Dorsoduro will end in San Trovaso, where there is one of the last active squero in Venice, the small shipyard where gondolas, the symbol of Venice, are built.
