Our guide and driver will collect you from Laem Chabang Port and proceed north towards the city of Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya, It’s part of the UNESCO cultural sites list, served as the Thai capital for 417 years. The historic city, which came into existence in the 14th century, today shelters many graceful ruins and artworks. Thirty-three monarchs of different dynasties governed from Ayutthaya, bedecking it’s buildings with a gamut of architectural styles.



Arrive to Wat Mahathat, a classic temple ruin of Ayutthaya and famous for the picturesque Buddha head engulfed by the Bodhi tree roots. The foundation size and the remaining prangs and towers attest the significance during its time. The next stop is Wat Phra Ram, a restored ruin located in the Historical Park of Ayutthaya and situated in a swampy area called Bueng Phra Ram. The monastery was constructed on the cremation site of the first Ayutthaya monarch, King Ramathibodi I.



Continue to the Ayutthaya Historical Park and visit to the ancient palace ground. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, once a royal temple lying besides the Grand Palace, was once the most significant temple during Ayutthaya period. Adjacent to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is Viharn Phra Mongkolbopit, an impressive building that houses a large seated bronze Buddha image. Its rebuilt pristine hall was believed to be a replica of the old Assembly Hall of Ayutthaya.



Close to Viharn Phra Mongkolbopit is Kum Khun Phaen, the Thai styled house located within the Ayutthaya Historical Park and in the location of the old prison of the Ayutthayan Era. It was called "Khun Phaen House" after the famous character of the epic poem "Khun Chang Khun Phaen." Have Lunch in a Thai Restaurant. Visit to Wat Lokaya Sutha to see the largest reclining Buddha of Ayutthaya with 8 meters high and 42 meters long. The Buddha image was made of brick and covered with plaster. Leave from Ayutthaya pass green paddy fields, villages, and temples then return to the ship.
