Axarquia in Malaga is home to two charming and stunning white towns which attract a huge amount of tourism: Nerja, famous for its caves and the amazing lookout and Frigiliana, renowned for being one of the most stunning white washed towns in Spain. Discover for yourself the beauty of both towns with our Nerja and Frigiliana Day Trip.
The first stop on our tour is Nerja, a coastal village located in the Sierra de Almijara. One of its main attractions are the caves or Cuevas de Nerja discovered in 1959 and whose cave paintings are probably the oldest works of art in the world having been painted 42.000 years ago. These caves have been declared a Monument of Historical and Artistic Interest.
Lastly, we will stop in Frigiliana and enjoy a wander around the historic quarter dating back to the Arabic period where you will be sure to enjoy the charm of its picturesque streets.
