Take in the sights of Palma de Mallorca on this full day excursion of the city. Experience this jewel of a city from the perfect vantage point aboard a state-of-the-art glass roofed coach. The trip includes a 70 minute coach tour and plenty of free time for exploring and shopping. Aboard the ride, each guest will receive audio and video information so as to learn all about the interesting history behind every site. On route the coach will stop at various panoramic points where you will put your photographing skills to the test.
After the bus stops at La Escollera you will have free time to explore the city. To help you find your way around you will receive a map of the city and special discount shopping vouchers for international visitors – Spanish guests, please consult your guide.
Don’t miss the famous Palma Cathedral and the unusual circular Bellver Castle, dating back to the 14th century. Mosey around the Arab Quarter, where you’ll encounter a maze of narrow streets, hidden museums and mansions and luxurious courtyards.
Famous for its leather goods and crafted simulated pearls, Palma is the perfect destination for avid shoppers! Stroll down the main shopping street, Avinguda Jaume III, or Passeig del Born for more specialized boutiques. If you select the option with the boat ride, you will be able to board a boat which willl take you to Palma port, where you may admire the deluxe yachts and enormous cruise ships as well as enjoying panoramic views of the city from the sea.
