Il programma nel dettaglio
Madrid never sleeps, and for this reason what better way than discovering some of Madrid´s most popular landmarks with an evening guided tour.
Make the most out of a photo stop at the iconic Royal Palace of Madrid (Palacio Real), the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family. Admire the architecture and contemplate the history of this wonderful and beautifully illuminated palace from outside, as you frame your perfect shots!
Another location not to be missed is the vibrant Gran Via, the most famous road in the city. This avenue is home to numerous fashion shops, restaurants, theatres, and cinemas. Pass through what has been nicknamed " The Spanish Broadway" and appreciate the lifestyle of the locals.
Before the tour comes to an end visit one of the oldest squares in Madrid, la Plaza Mayor. Located in the city centre, only a stone’s throw away from Puerta del Sol and Calle Mayor, and the city´s most beautiful areas. Whilst here, gaze and admire la Casa de la Panadería (the Bakery House), the equestrian statue of Felipe III and the Arco de Cuchilleros, an arched stairway leading to the plaza. Plaza Mayor was built in the site of the old Plaza del Arrabal, where the town´s most popular market was held at end of the 15th century. Which makes this the oldest square in Spain.
Along the way you will also discover some of the city´s favourite restaurants and bars, so as soon as the tour is over, you will be able to continue enjoying Madrid's nightlife on your own.
