Il programma nel dettaglio

Enjoy the natural beauty of the “Garden Isle" as you explore the West and South of Kaua'i with ease, on a scenic tour around the Waimea Canyon State Park. Formed by erosion and the collapse of the volcano that formed the island of Kauai, this breathtakingly beautiful canyon is filled with hidden gems just waiting to be seen.

It's easy to see why the majestic Waimea Canyon was famously referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by Mark Twain, with a jaw-dropping depth of over 3000ft, a mile wide in some areas and 10 miles long, the Canyon provides a glorious backdrop, and boasts panoramas unlike any other on the island.

Aside from offing lush wilderness with many hiking trails and beautiful vistas to see, the scenic drive along route 580 provides outstanding views of the Wailua River. Enjoy several 5-10 minutes stops for photo opportunities along the way of the area's most popular features and landmarks such as the incredible blowhole, the Spouting Horn, the Old Sugar Mill of Koloa and the resorts made famous in the Elvis Presley movie, Blue Hawaii.
