Next to the Cruise Ship Pier and 200 meters from “Las Canteras” Beach, you will find the great Poema del Mar Aquarium. A modern and ambitious project based on the commitment to innovation, the conservation of biodiversity, and excellence in sustainable tourism development.
Begin your visit by submerging in the first zone, The Jungle, with reproductions of images of landscapes that cover the entire planet, paying homage to the 5 continents. Come face-to-face with crocodiles and piranhas and take a stroll through the Amazon and the Mississippi before continuing to the huge cylinder with more than 400,000 litres of water, which exhibits a variety of colours of corals and fish. Enjoy the diversity of exotic marine life at the Reef-Beach and sit back at the wave pool.
The pièce de résistance of the aquarium is the Deep Ocean, a breathtaking enormous curved aquarium. Lose yourself as you watch the myriad species of marine life swimming around their comfortable habitat. With the largest curved window that has ever been manufactured in the world, a methacrylate of 140 tons of weight, 36 meters long and 7 meters high, Poema del Mar Aquarium gives you a window to the deep ocean and more!
