As soon as you pull up to the zoo, you will be encompassed by the fresh morning air of Gianyar. Delight in the song coming from the chirpy birds and listen out for the other subtle sounds coming from the animals as they begin to raise their sleepy heads before you reach the entrance.
The Zookeeper will guide guests to the traditional Sumatran Buffalo House area where you’ll see between three to four orangutans playing about in the playground part of the restaurant. Be amused by the adorable orangutans as they fool about with their friends. The breakfast is sure to fill you up before your fun filled day which also makes it worth the trip. You start off with an assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables or fruit juice, you’ll then be served up some freshly-baked bread alongside some jam and butter, you finish off with a main course of your choice.
Take your pick between having a cup of Balinese kopi tubruk or go for your usual cup of English breakfast tea. Needless to say, The Orangutans are the main charm of this experience but it is worth noting that you get the chance to feed the elephants, hold the gibbons and take some pictures with both them and some beautiful birds as well before you go and meet the other animals.
