In the morning, meet your local tour guide and head to Mas village, located to the east of Ubud. Explore the art of Ubud and surrounding areas and meet with a high profile, talented mask maker, I Wayan Mukan whose intricate works are often used in performances. As well as having the privilege to meet him, you will have the opportunity to further learn about his passion.
Afterwards, transfer to Ubud, where you will discover one of the best collection of Balinese and Indonesian painting at the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA Museum). It is more than a museum it is a living tradition as when you stroll along the compound featured a lush tropical garden that provides an elegant and tranquil environment. Next, take a short walk through a rice paddy from the main road of Ubud and enjoy your organic lunch at Sari Organic restaurant, an oasis within walking distance of Ubud busy market.
After lunch, continue to central Ubud, where you will discover Ubud's royal palace, which was built in the 16th century, until today, is still the home to Ubud's king and the royal family. Just next to the palace, lies the Ubud art market, the most popular and traditional market in the whole of Bali. Here, browse the stalls and admire Balinese handicraft and textiles to name just a few.
At the end pay a short visit to the monkey forest - home to a healthy population of long-tailed macaques and then drive onwards to your hotel.
