Take the Odyssey journey with this day tour to one of the most famous cities in history. Visit the famous archeological and mythological site of Troy, home of the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy.



Troy is a city which existed over 4,000 years and known as the center of ancient civilizations. For many years people believed that it was the city mentioned only in tales and never existed until it was first found in the 19th century. Troy (Truva in Turkish) is located in Hisarlik near Canakkale province where the remains of this once-great city can be visited. You will see and hear about The Trojan Horse, Helen of Troy, The Trojan Wars, The battle between Achilles and Paris, The Sacrificial Altars, The 3700 year old city walls, The Houses of Troy I, 3000 B.C. - 2500 B.C., The Senate Building and The Odeon. You may also see some current excavations in progress before returning to Istanbul at the end of the tour.
