Travelling on foot and by private minibus we visit five of Buenos Aires’ most coloured neighbourhoods. Admire incredible murals that reveal the way in which art and activism have remained closely linked throughout the city’s history, and take a stroll through leafy districts each with their own personality.Explore the neighbourhood of Colegiales, where workers and immigrants from Europe settled; leaving their mark on the architecture and style of the neighbourhood. We also head to Chacarita with its vintage row houses and Villa Crespo in the geographical heart of the city. Although not an official neighbourhood, Palermo Hollywood boasts a fascinating collection of murals, alongside Palermo Soho where artists and designers have converted old mansions. Visit the open-air art galleries commenting on outdoor techniques as well as artists’ motivations, and finish the tour at the only urban art gallery run by street artists in Palermo Soho.
