Il programma nel dettaglio
The tour begins at the Municipal House, a feat of Art Nouveau. Next, visit the stalls at the Havelsky market, Prague’s local market since as far back as 1232. Then meander through the little alleyways of the Old Town, which is filled with palaces and churches from many different ages.
At the Old Town Square, admire the infamous Astronomical Clock and later explore the magnificently preserved Jewish Quarter – one of the few Jewish quarters to conserve its synagogues throughout World War II. Here you’ll learn about the Golem, a legendary creature brought to life by Rabbi Low in the 16th century.
After enjoying a traditional Czech lunch in one of the old town’s enchanting restaurants, continue towards the riverside. Hop onto a reproduction of a 19th century sailboat and glide down the Vlatva River. Contemplate the magical backdrop as you sip on some fine Czech beer, lemonade or a hot drink.
Once back on land, enter the Little Quarter, which you’ll travel through on a local tram that takes you to Prague Castle, the largest castle complex in the world. Later on, pop into the breath-taking cathedral before ending your tour at another: St Vitus Cathedral. From there on, Prague is your oyster.
