Enter the magical underground world of the Hams Caves and the Drach Caves in Mallorca.



For thousands of years they were one of Mother Nature’s best kept secrets until in 1905 Pedro Caldentey discovered the grotto. Nowadays, you can not only visit the caverns but also enjoy light and sound shows inside.



The tour starts at the Hams Caves by descending down into the Round Cave, where we will discover a huge botanical garden with native fauna. In the Blue Cave – a new 2015 attraction- you will be shown a fascinating documentary that introduces you to the history of Mallorca, its first inhabitants, the formation of the caves and its extraordinary discoveries. You can admire the spectacular new LED lighting, the "Pillars of Samson", the "Fra Mauro Plains" and "Hell's Pit" where you may find the GENESIS Auditorium that shows the enjoyable 'The History of Life- a Time Lapse audiovisual guide, from the Big Bang to the present day, on a giant projection onto the ancient rock of the cave itself. Then we visit the Classic Cave, which is comprised of 12 galleries. After admire in awe the spectacular Underground Lake that’s found in the Sea of Venice and offers delightful musical entertainment. Hams Caves are one of the main attractions in Mallorca and provide an unforgettable day out.



On the East of the island, passing the city of Manacor, you will arrive at Porto Cristo where the famous Drach Caves are found and were first explored in 1878. You visit all the areas of this big underground space where it is possible to marvel at impressive backdrops, which are reflected in the waters of many lakes and canals. In the biggest cave you can admire the Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world. Here, a classical music show takes place every day. The music of Chopin is the most important part of the recital.
