The city of Provins has preserved its striking medieval appearance. The site is listed on UNESCO'S World heritage list and has 58 classed or listed historic monuments. This city is a genuine showcase of civil, military and religious architecture.

Provins comes to life every day to take you back to the Middle Ages. Discover breathtaking medieval shows, including an equestrian falconry show and exhibition, and its historical sites and monuments such as la Tour César, the tithe barn (the ancient covered market), and of course the famous ramparts built between the 11th and the 13th centuries. The castles and historic buildings are something special to see and is something the whole family is sure to enjoy!

Take a journey back in time and get a real feel of the medieval times with this tour of the small city of Provins. Medieval shows are also available so you can see how people who lived there would have spent their time, including jousts and the birds of prey shows! In the ramparts you will see how the Lords spent their time. There will also be lots of displays as well as demonstrations of the way people will have made many of the goods that Provins was responsible for, from food to clothing. The city has stood for over 1,000 years and remains very much the way it was built, making it a pristine tourism site for those who are interested in looking into the heritage of France.
