Indulge in some of southwestern Ireland's most magnificent scenery on a 2-day trip to the Ring of Kerry from Dublin. Stay overnight in Killarney and travel by coach along this scenic route with an informative local guide, stopping at panoramic vistas along the Ring of Kerry. From Moll’s Gap and Ladies View, you’ll get picture-worthy views of Macgillycuddy’s Reeks, Carrantuohill and the Lakes of Killarney.

This 2-day guided trip by train and coach heads through southwestern Ireland’s spectacular and scenic Ring of Kerry, with an overnight stay at a 4-star hotel plus breakfast included!



Day 1: Dublin – Killarney.

When you arrive at Dublin Heuston Station, check in with your friendly host for your 3pm departure to Killarney. Arriving at your destination at 6:20pm, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in central Killarney, where you can enjoy a leisurely evening before your scenic coach tour the following day. Overnight: 4-star hotel in Killarney.



Day 2: Killarney – Dublin (B) .

With your group, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before pickup by your knowledgeable guide. Your sightseeing tour by comfortable coach goes through the picturesque Ring of Kerry – southwestern Ireland’s scenic 110-mile (180-km) route.



Follow this circular road through some of Ireland’s most spectacular scenery. Head through Moll's Gap and admire the red sandstone rocks along the scenic pass. At a panoramic vista, your guide will point out camera-worthy views of Macgillycuddy’s Reeks, a lovely mountain range that reaches across 12 miles (19 km) of rural terrain.



Take in Ireland’s highest peaks and catch sight of the tallest, Carrantuohill, which reaches a height of 3,400 feet (1,040 meters). Stop at Ladies View, another scenic lookout point along the Ring of Kerry, and take in the awe-inspiring sight of the three Lakes of Killarney – Lough Leane, Muckross Lake (also called Middle Lake) and Upper Lake.



At the end of your scenic tour, return to Killarney for your train departure to Mallow, joining the Dublin-bound express and arriving in Dublin at 9pm. (Dinner service is available aboard the train at your own expense.)

Start/opening time: Departure of intercity train to Cork at 3pm.

Closing/ End time: At 9pm con the second day.
