While taking advantage of your visit to the city of London, take a break and get to know one of the most representative cities of Belgium: Bruges, which has a well-deserved classification as a Unesco World Heritage site. In Bruge you will have a 3 hour tour through the City where you will learn about the history and Architecture of the City. Explore the canals and lace shops in the Kantcentrum, visit the church that keeps a vial of the blood of Christ: The Heilig-Bloedbasiliek church.
You will also have opportunity to familiarize yourself with the mills in Begijnhof, where there is a group of white-coloured houses, in which a group of single and widowed women used to live. Today Begijnhof is run by Benedictine nuns.
Later you will have free time to enjoy the local cuisine, shop the typical stores or just walk through the magical streets. For art lovers, you can visit the Groeninge Museum (on your own), where a wide range of paintings from the fourteenth century is on display, which is part of the history of Belgian art.
