Il programma nel dettaglio

There's more to Mexico than just the tourist areas. You will explore a part of the heartland of this beautiful country. The adventure begins with an early pick in the lobby and continues down the highway, and then turns left on the scenic Ruta de los Cenotes (Route of the Cenotes) until you reach the town of Leona Vicario. First you get to know about its religion by visiting the local church right next to the town square. The next part of the tour will be carried out in the typical transport in the region, the Tricitaxi (tricycle rickshaw). The highlights include: a visit to a school to see how the kids have fun and appreciate something as simple as a pencil; a trip to a wooden handicraft factory, where you will see how to turn a piece of log into a flower vase or an ashtray in less than 10 minutes; a look at the local cemetery to appreciate that in Mexico people not only are afraid of death, but they use it as a way to celebrate the past. Then a family will invite people to their home to teach how to live and make food in the typical Mexican way.

After leaving Leona Vicario, there are 2 options. Puerto Morelos, for a typical fisherman village, its square and its charming people, or for a special price of almost 60% off the regular price; you can visit Crococun. That is a sanctuary and nursery for crocodiles, monkeys, deer, snakes most other animals that people have discarded as pets. And the place where guides inculcate the value of respect for wildlife to continue admiring the beauties offered by our planet.
And after all that, its time to head back to the hotel in time for lunch and continue to enjoy a wonderful holiday.
