Join us for an inspiring journey through the history of gospel on the NYC Gospel Walking Tour.

Listen to the beautiful, uplifting sounds of a world famous NYC city gospel choir, learn the history of American Gospel Music and view the elegant homes and churches of Brooklyn Heights.



We begin in lower Manhattan to learn about the roots of African-American gospel culture and see from where gospel music first emerged. Continue on to the enchanting area of Brooklyn Heights where you can admire the gorgeous brownstones, historic homes and churches as well as the church that launched gospel music onto the international world stage.



We end the tour at a nondenominational Christian church with a Grammy-award winning choir to listen to some of the best gospel in the world, and bring the tour to a spiritual end.
