Peddle your way through the legendary Barcelona. On this Barcelona bike adventure you will drive by many of the city’s most iconic landmarks, as well as off the beaten track, on routes widely unexplored by tourists. What better way of getting to grips with the local knowhow than by joining the locals that cycle for pleasure or on their way to work?

Alongside your knowledgeable guide, who will at all times fill you in on the city’s history and myths, begin your tour at the Olympic Port. This landmark was built for the 1992 Olympic Games and it supposed the start of Barcelona’s ongoing architectonic re-inventing itself. Continue along the waterside and past Frank Gehry’s infamous fish sculpture then head to Ciutadella Park, a large lush space where locals come to chill.

Drive into the Eixample, the 19th century quarter. There you’ll come across Barcelona’s iconic Antoni Gaudi buildings, erected in his unparalleled style. As you peddle your way down Passeig de Gracia, an upbeat shopping street, admire the many beautiful buildings that flank the downtown.

Turn then into the Raval, the city’s most thrilling and multicultural district. Ride also through the ancient buildings that cluster in Gothic quarter. After that, take a break at a tapas restaurant to try out some delicious local cuisine. Once filled with Spanish specialties, it’s onto the saddle again and off to Port Vell, the old port and fishing neighbourhood. Driving along the beach, you’ll close the cycle by reaching the tour’s starting point.
