La Pedrera, or the Quarry in English, was originally named Casa Milà after the owners who commissioned it but more recently took up the new name due to its rippling grey stone effect that rolls around the corner of Carrer de Provença. This tour should not be missed whilst in Barcelona, as it is considered a landmark that reflects the personality of the city.

Explore the apartment, the attic and the roof, which are known as Gaudí’s Space. Let the roof take your breath away as we explore the surreal world that this great artist has created. Admire the giant chimneys that resemble medieval knights in a spectacular array of colours. Have a wonder around the museum which contains wonderful artefacts about this inspirational man.

One of the highlights to this tour is entering “El Pis de la Pedrera” an apartment desgined in a beautifully elegant way, resembling the household of a family in the early 20th Century. Feel the history that took place here and imagine what it would be like to live in such a wonderful place. Let your jaw drop as you examine the intricate detail in every single little piece of this flat. From its lighting, to its balconies, to its door frames and handles, this really does have to be considered a work of art.
