The gallery houses works by the painter ranging from his earliest artistic experiences to the creations from his final years.

The Dalí Museum should be understood as a whole. Dalí himself was the one who conceived and designed the building in the ruins of Figueres old municipal theatre, destroyed during the Civil War. In his hometown there is still a wide selection of his work that shows the extravagance and strength of the great genius of surrealism.

The next stop on the tour is Girona, located about 35 km from Figueres. Hop aboard the AVE train to discover one of the most interesting historical towns in Catalonia. More than 2,000 years of history with the presence of Iberians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Jews and Christians are reflected in a unique and charismatic historic centre, which includes fortified enclosures, a Jewish quarter, beautiful streets, arcaded squares, Baroque spaces and 20th century buildings.
