Have the Vatican to yourself on this exclusive, early morning tour that whisks you through closed doors for breakfast in the peaceful Pinecone Courtyard – before anyone else enters the Museums.

Feast on an Italian-American buffet of pastries, meats, cheeses, hot food and even pancakes, flipped by our pancake chef. Experience a level of tranquillity rarely seen by visitors to the Vatican.

After breakfast, follow your tour guide through the Vatican Museums taking time to savour the artworks in peace before the museums open to the general public. See ancient cartography in the Gallery of Maps and visual illusions in the Gallery of Tapestries. Drink in Raphael’s beautiful frescoes and visit Michelangelo’s world-famous ‘Last Judgment’ and ‘The Creation of Adam’.

Delight in a guided tour of Michelangelo’s Pieta in St. Peter’s Basilica where you will also be able to see the incredible carved altar.

This tour represents the first time in history that the Vatican Museums have allowed members of the public to enter so early – not to mention providing a buffet breakfast.
