Have a memorable day out at the Cabeza de Toro Nature Reserve. Swim and snorkel with sharks and stingrays and get to meet the cute fur seals. Enjoy a cruise along the unspoilt coast at the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic and then go snorkelling in the amazingly clear waters of the Cabeza de Toro coral reef.

Have a memorable afternoon out at the Cabeza de Toro Nature Reserve. Swim and snorkel with sharks and stingrays and get to meet the cute fur seals. Enjoy a cruise along the unspoilt coast at the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic and then go snorkelling in the amazingly clear waters of the Cabeza de Toro coral reef.

The fun starts when are picked up from your hotel; just sit back and enjoy the lush tropical scenery as we drive past fields of sugar cane and plantations of tropical fruit. Then we’ll board the boat and set out to sea, heading for Cabeza de Toro, a coral reef and Nature Reserve just off the coast off the Dominican Republic.

The pristine, crystal clear waters around here are simply teeming with a mind-boggling variety of underwater life. Schools of brightly coloured tropical fish and starfish are all a common sight around here.

After a brief sail, where you can enjoy the sun or sit in the shade with a cool drink we’ll make a stop at a beautiful natural pool. Here it’s time to put your mask and snorkel and jump into the incredibly clear turquoise waters. Swim and snorkel in the company of an incredible variety of underwater life. Nothing can compare to the spine-tingling experience of swimming with sharks and stingrays, their silhouettes gliding effortlessly along far below you.

We’ll also stop at one of the nearby beaches where you can relax on the pure white sand in the shade of the waving coconut palms before heading back to the harbour. Enjoy cocktails and try out your dance moves to some hot local merengue!



Meeting point: Pick up at hotel.
Duration: 3 hours. This program includes: Swim with fur seals 20 minutes, sharks and stingrays encounter 20 minutes.
Start or opening time: At 1:40 pm.
End or closing time: At 3:40pm.
Physical condition: This programme is designed for any level of swimming ability, from beginner to expert. Animal encounters are not suitable for pregnant women.
