Start/opening time: Southbound from Chicago to New Orleans departs Chicago at 8pm and arrives in New Orleans at 3:30 pm the following day.
Others: There must be one person 17 years or older in each room. Children under the age of 2 are free when traveling in the same accommodation or berth with their adult guardian over the age of 17. Smoking is not permitted aboard the train.
