The tour offers exploring quaint villages and ancient towns around eastern Scotland. The journey takes clients north over the Forth Road Bridge to Falkland, to take a step back in time in the traditional Scottish village. Then travelling east on country roads lunch is taken at St. Andrews, the home of golf, Scotland's oldest university town and ecclesiastical centre. The afternoon the tour takes clients into the East Neuk of Fife, to this delightful yet sometimes forgotten part of Scotland, and to visits some of the picturesque fishing villages en route back to Edinburgh.
Meeting/pick-up point: from outside the Highland Experience Tours' office at 1 Parliament Square. Royal Mile, Edinburgh.
Duration: Approx. Nine hours.
Start/opening time: The tour is available on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays until March 31 and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from April 01. Clients must arrive to the meeting point 15 min before the departure time.
End/closing time: Tour returns at 6.00pm.
