Il programma nel dettaglio

There is no better way to take in the wonders of Madrid than on two wheels as you cycle through its historic streets with the wind in your hair. Avoid the busy traffic jams of the capital city and navigate its streets far quicker than on foot, it really is the best of both worlds. With a long list of landmarks and tourist attractions to visit and many open green parks, it is the perfect city to glide effortless through as you take in its many sights and sounds.

Once you rent your bike you are free to explore the city however you like but be sure to discover some of the following highlights. Check out Madrid’s many vibrant and bustling squares such as Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Sol and Plaza de Cibeles. Full of rich history, beautiful architecture and picturesque cafés, there is no more pleasant way to spend an afternoon than with a coffee or plate of tapas in the heart of the Spanish capital.

Head to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to admire the home of the mighty Real Madrid football team. If you choose to head inside and tour the stadium you can truly go behind-the-scenes to the dressing rooms, media rooms, trophy rooms and even pitch side. Then hop back on your bike and make your way to another spectacular arena, the beautiful Las Ventas Bullring. Admire the architecture from the outside or opt for a guided tour to fully appreciate the history and significance of bullfighting in Spain.

To escape the wide city streets, head to Retiro Park with its large green areas, iconic statues and beautiful inner city lake. Here you can have a magical time as you rent a small rowing boat for an hour and splash your way up to the monument of Alfonso XII.
