Put your rhythm skills to the test or perhaps even discover a new talent with this one of a kind opportunity to join a flamenco percussion workshop. The key percussion instrument in the fiery flamenco genre is the “cajon”, a cubical wooden box on which the percussionist sits and taps away a melody by tapping away at the face of the box between his legs.

Have you got rhythm? Have you got beat? The answer doesn’t really matter because with this exclusive course both amateurs and pros will be able to have a fun-filled time learning new tips and tricks to become real flamenco musicians.

Throughout the workshop, you will count with the company of a charming and knowledgeable instructor who will instruct you in the subtle and not so simple art of flamenco, a music known in Spain as the music of the soul. Although in appearance very intuitive, it is actually one of the most musically complex genres, especially for the singers and guitarists. Taking that into account, mastering the “cajon” is the ideal way for you to become immersed for the first time into the fiery world of flamenco. You might later want to perfect the technique or even wade deeper into the waters of this genre and take up other instruments in the future. Join us and surprise yourself as you see your flamenco skills awakening with this fun and fascinating instrument, responsible for holding the whole ensemble together.
