Il programma nel dettaglio

Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind for the day and immerse yourself in the Big Blue. The clear, calm waters of the resort of La Jolla, just north of San Diego are ideal for snorkelling whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver. You’ll find a wealth of underwater attractions including kelp forests, secluded grottoes, schools of curious fish as well as many species of sea mammals including dolphins and sea lions.

Explore the sandy flat sea bottom and sand dollar beds, and then swim over the kelp reefs as you look out for lobster, bat rays, the occasional sea turtle, and the unique 5-foot shovel nose guitar fish. Come up close to dozens of harmless leopard sharks congregating in the shallows at La Jolla Shores, and enjoy unforgettable experience.

The tour takes around 1½ hours. Participants must be 8 years or older and must be able to swim. No experience is necessary, but the tour does require moderate swimming ability.

The areas explored will depend on the ability of the group. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Guides are expert naturalists with backgrounds in marine biology, ecology, environmental science photography, and outdoor recreation, and hold advanced certifications in kayak and snorkel instruction, and CPR/First Aid.
