Il programma nel dettaglio
You can’t miss the coolest looking dudes on the beaches of Lanzarote these days – and you can join them with a day paddle boarding or practicing yoga on a board. Stand up paddle surfing, as paddle boarding is also known, is a Hawaiian sport that works your balance, strength and physical conditions. Once you’ve mastered the technique, the next step is yoga.
Both activities can be done with or without waves… and Lanzarote is great for that purpose, as in a short time you can change a relaxing stroll in calm waters for the emotion of riding waves along the west coast. Yoga on the paddle board, meanwhile, allows you to be at one with the sea as you create a synergy with the ocean’s energy. Thanks to the great balance of the boards, you have the chance of living this relaxing experience.
If you want to feel the emotion of riding a wave, however, you can try out the most suitable beaches in Lanzarote for surf and stand up paddling. Basecamp is Famara Beach, a wonderful 5km-log sandy beach of crystal-clear waters. Should wave conditions not be favourable at Famara, there are also locations at Playa de la Canteria (Ozola), Playa de la Garita (Arrieta), Costa de La Santa and Costa Punta Mujeres. At Puerto del Carmen, thanks to the calm waters, you’ll find one of the best spots to practise paddle boarding and take the first lessons with ease of mind.
Meeting/pick-up point: Arranged at time of booking.
Duration: Theory class of 30 minutes and practical class of 90 minutes.
Others: Board, paddle and wetsuit are provided.
