Walk through the history of Istanbul on a full day tour from the Bayazit District to Haseki and Samatya. Let a unique culture of a city be unveiled to you as you make your way through some of the fascinating sites of the city.



Begin at the Istanbul University, one of the oldest institutions of Europe, established by Constantine the Great. Stroll through the ancient Roman Forum Taurus, before heading into the Bayazit District, to check out the famed mosque and tower. Listen as your guide shares stories of the unlucky Sultan Mustafa III. Continue on to Haseki. An area with amazing mosques, historical hospitals, Roman ruins, and plenty of history, you'll enjoy strolling amidst these treasures and learning about their significance.



Further along, you'll head to Samatya, a traditionally Armenian enclave. Visit many of the religious sites important to the locals, and uncover a deep-seated religious tradition as you tour the Surp Kevork. Continue on to visit the churches of Hristos Analipsis and Haghios Menas of the Greek orthodox tradition. View the impressive Ramazan Efendi Camii mosque and the former Byzantine Church of St. Andrew, Kocamustafapasha Camii, before exploring other places of historical importance throughout the district.



Take in the sights and sounds of the city over a delicious cup of Turkish coffee and some lunch. Notice all the smiling faces and shops with their street side wares before calling it a day.
