Il programma nel dettaglio
Learn how to best interpret the magnificent ancient sights of Athens through the lens of your camera and let loose your creative skills as you walk through the city and bring life to each shot you take.
At the start of the tour, an expert photographer will look at the basic features of your camera and help you get the most from it. Discover all about composition and correct lighting techniques. Armed with these new skills, you will be able to take memorable pictures worthy of a professional to enlarge and display in your home.
Tours begin at 9.30 am or 4.30 pm and we meet at Syntagma Square in front of the Metro entrance. Even if you don’t own a camera you are more than welcome to join the tour and if you wish, become the subject of our photographs against the wonderful backdrop of the city. Before setting off we will briefly talk about general photography in a way everyone can understand without getting into technical jargon and show you how to frame the perfect pic.
This wonderfully relaxed experience will take you to photogenic gems such as the Temple of the Olympian Zeus, the Odeon of Herodes, the iconic Acropolis, Atticus and Anafiotika. You can also practice your new-found skills in the old Town area of Plaka where you see the locals just getting on with everyday life.
The tour ends in Monastiraki, where you can enjoy a light lunch or dinner of Souvlaki and beer and reflect on a memorable day.
