Il programma nel dettaglio
Learn the art of driving at the Hellenic Motor Museum and admire the stunning collection of almost 300 classic and vintage cars from the 1890s to 1970s owned by the Theodore and Joanna Charagionis Foundation. See spellbinding cars such as an Alfa Romeo Montreal and a DKW F12 Roadster Saxomat convertible.
Situated in central Athens near the National Archaeological Museum and occupying the top three floors of the newly built and stylish Athenian Capitol shopping mall, the collection consists of 294 cars of which about 110 are displayed periodically. Offering many other attractions from time to time such as a Formula 1 simulator, a road safety educational programme, an amphitheatre and more, it is a fascinating visit for the young and old.
For ease of use, all the vintage cars are arranged in a chronological order. Presented with each car is a great information display for you to read, which will wow you with the fascinating story of the evolution of cars. From an old fire fighter to the first Rolls Royce or an amazing James Bond car, everything is here. Even people who are not avid car enthusiasts will likely enjoy the collection, especially for the sheer beauty of some of these machines. Those motor fans who may have visited car museums elsewhere may well be surprised to see a car that have not yet seen nor perhaps even heard
