Discover Manhattan Island from the land and the water in this value for money boat and bike tour. Cycling is a safe, simple and fun way to explore the world’s greatest city. You’ll find miles of cycle lanes and traffic-free bike paths and you can choose from a variety of tours allowing you to see all the top sites and create your own urban adventure.

This pedal-powered tour is the best way to understand Manhattan Island – you’ll cycle through its leafy parks and upmarket neighbourhoods and then enjoy great views of the iconic skyline from a water taxi on the Hudson River. The tour starts as you meet your friendly local guide at Battery Park and you set off down the traffic-free bike path along the Hudson River crossing into the neighbouring borough of Brooklyn by the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge.

Grab an Italian-style espresso or relax over pizza, pasta and gelato in one of the area’s many eateries then enjoy the great views over to Manhattan from Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Explore the neighbourhood’s famous brownstone buildings and soak up the cosmopolitan, multi-cultural street vibe.

Now it’s time to board a New York Water Taxi for unforgettable close-up views of the South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. Then back on dry land again, you’ll jump back on your bike and ride past Gehry's IAC Building, the High Line and the Meatpacking District as your guide provides you with fascinating snippets of information about the different sights and attractions. You’ll cycle past expensive yachts and luxurious marinas until returning point of departure.

Others: Guided tour includes Water Taxi tickets, comfort bike rental, helmet, and bottled water. Gratuities are not included. Trailer carriages and trailer tandems available for rent for children. Service may be cancelled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions. For the participant's safety, a properly fitted helmet is provided and everyone must wear it at all times while riding. Participants must agree to follow all traffic laws, signs, rules, and regulations while riding. Due to safety precautions and respect for other people on your tour, we ask that participants not use cellular telephones, operate cameras or smoke cigarettes while riding.
