Program details
We will head north west and our first stop will be at Belimbing village to admire the beautiful countryside and rice terraces of this area. Then, we'll proceed to the Buddhist temple of Vihara Dharma Giri in the village of Pupuan, West Bali. The temple is known for its large, white sleeping statue of Buddha. Besides offering a unique sightseeing opportunity, this temple also features a peaceful and pleasantly quiet ambiance and we can freely roam throughout its wondrous complex.
Heading north, we will arrive at the sacred hot springs Air Panas of Banjar, set in the midst of the jungle, in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, close to Lovina Beach, it consists of three pools with sulphuric water of volcanic origin and has an agreeable warm temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.
The next stop will be Lovina beach, on the north coast, with lunch at a local sea front restaurant. After lunch the direction will be south, to visit the Git Git twin waterfall. The sound of the water can be heard from 200m away and a massive amount of water falling from a height of 45m can be seen.
On the way back to the south, the last visit will be at the Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, the temple of the water goddess, the major water temple in Bali. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Beratan at 1200m above sea level, with beautiful views of the mountains area near Bedugul.
We will return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
