Program details
After an optional stop for silver jewellery, we will proceed towards the city of Klungkung, to visit Kerta Gosa, the royal palace of justice built in the 18th century, where we will have the chance to admire the ancient frescos that show old methods of punishment. We will then continue along the coast past typical fishermen's villages and salt production to the old village of Tenganan, situated at the foothills of the majestic Mount Agung. This village is home to the Bali Aga, the original Balinese tribe and it is well known for its hereditary traditions, mysteriously well-kept secret behind the village walls since hundreds of years.
We will enjoy our lunch at a beachfront restaurant. In the afternoon, we will continue on the panoramic roads overlooking the blue ocean and we'll return back on winding roads through shining rice paddies at the slopes of Mount Agung.
