A "must-do" tour in Arenal for sure. The beautiful and impressive Arenal Volcano will amuse you from the beginning of the trip. Our attentive personnel will wait for you at the hotel lobby to lead you to one of our comfortable vans with air conditioning. During the transfer to the trail, which takes about 10 to 30 minutes depending on the hotel location, our guide will talk briefly about the tour itinerary and explain to you in detail some really interesting data, about the volcano and the area in general as well.
When arriving at the place for the hike, you will prepare for the trail with some recommendations for you to enjoy with comfort the tour. After that, we'll walk through different scenarios with variable kinds of vegetation with a chance to meet the local fauna.
You will also stand at a viewpoint incredibly close to the volcano and step on ancient lava flows turned into stone. The guide will do his best to give you catching and interesting information about the place, the hiding fauna among the trees and bushes and of course about the Arenal Volcano, so the 2 or 2 and a half hours of the trail will be really entertaining.
At the end of the hike, the tour continues to the hot spring’s facility, so you can relax in the pools and choose among the different temperatures the one that makes you feel better. We recommend trying the hot water pools and then switching to a cold-water pool, you can do this many times if you like. It will relax and restore your body in a surprising way.
The Springs Resort is embedded in scenic patches of rainforest, these hot springs provide great views of the volcano and a multitude of options. With temperatures ranging from 83 degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and environments that vary from raging waterfalls to tranquil forest experiences, guests can find the perfect pool for their mood and the current weather conditions.
Tests of the hot mineral springs reveal an ideal natural combination of high bicarbonate and high chlorides with relatively low sulfur content to provide a truly pleasurable soaking experience.
After the baths, we will lead you to the restaurant, where a delicious meal waits for you.
Last, once you are relaxed and satisfied, we'll drive you back to your hotel, so you can rest as never before.
