Program details

Whilst in Florence, don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit the three most iconic and world-renowned towns in Tuscany in one day: Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa.

Your day starts with a bus journey from Florence to Siena with your English-speaking Tour Leader, who will tell you all about the history and traditions of this town, before meeting with your local guide for a more in-depth visit.

Renowned for the Palio, which dates to the Middle Ages, this town is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will be in awe as you walk through the narrow streets of the old town.

Enjoy a guided tour with skip the line to the magnificent Duomo and reach the Piazza del Campo, once the center of political activity and nowadays the symbol of one of the most ancient and intriguing horse races in the world, full of symbols, tradition, and intrigues.

On the way to San Gimignano, you will take in the idyllic Tuscany countryside, with its gentle hills, the vineyard that produces the world-renowned Chianti wines, and the iconic Cypress and Olive trees.

Spot the skyline of the tower houses from far and enjoy your free time in the town, where you will have free time to wander on the narrow streets and admire the architecture of this unique UNESCO world heritage site, famous for its medieval tall buildings and encircling walls.

Your Tour Leader will be able to assist you on how to spend your free time, where to have lunch, and the best gelato!

We will also treat you to a small tasting and a glass of the famous local wine, so you can have a true flavor of what Tuscany is about!

We will then drive to our last destination, Pisa, for a chance to see the most famous bell tower in the world (from the outside) and the magnificent complex around it, also known as the Square of Miracles.

Along the way, your English-speaking Tour Leader will be explaining to you about Pisa, and its history and will be available for any questions and assistance you may need.

The Duomo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Baptistery are architectural masterpieces, and you will be able to admire the elaborated medieval facades, the frescoes, and the marble patterns which decorate them.

Your Tour Leader will escort you to the entrance of the Cathedral and will provide a ticket for it. You will then enjoy your free time at the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) to take some pictures of the complex and the unusual bell tower. The tower owes the bizarre tilted position to the fact that the ground on which is built is soft and was unable to support its foundation.

We will then transfer back to Florence, having covered the best of Tuscany in one day – join and tick 3 iconic jewels off your bucket list!
