Start this full day trip from Madrid in a comfortable bus with guide on board until we reach Castilla y León region. We will enjoy a full day guided tour that will take us to discover the city of Segovia. This city has an old town that was declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1985. Segovia is also famous for its well-preserved roman aqueduct, which is 16 km long, and considered the most important roman civil engineering construction in the Iberian Peninsula.



At the end of the medieval times the city was at its peak because it was the place where the Trastamara Royal Court was located. In 1474 Queen Isabella I of Castile was crowned in the church of San Miguel. When we arrive in Segovia we will take you on a guided tour through the old town of the city in order to visit the most important monuments. We will see the roman aqueduct and the Cathedral which is located in the Major Square. The visit inside the Cathedral will be able for those people in the group that have chosen this tour option. The rest of the group will have some free time to enjoy the major square, wich is full of bars, restaurants and shops. Afterwards we will walk through the Jewish quarter until reach the Alcazar. This spectacular fortification became one of the favorite residences of the Castilian monarchy, especially the king Alphonse X. Its architecture served as inspiration in some Walt Disney films. Once we finish the Alcazar visit, we will go to the bus for coming back to the Madrid city center.
