Program details
After being picked up at the hotel, the trip to Gran Canaria begins. From Port of Morro Jable aboard the modern Speed Ferry Fred Olsen, take a seat and relax in comfort as you take the 2-hour crossover to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Depart the port and head north to the most famous crater of the island – Caldera de Bandama. Here you the get all the information according to the trip and all of the places that you will visit. Of course there is a free time to take the photos and enjoy the fabulous island. Afterwards, take the road to La Atalaya and pass through the Las Goteras ravine, Higuera Canaria, and the famous San Roque Valley, famous for its cultivation of orange trees and watercress. Enjoy a brief stop at one of the local towns and admire the landscape full of palm trees. Next, visit the Artesania Canaria Maguey where you can try typical Canarian products. Continue as we climb up to Pico de las Nieves the highest point of Gran Canaria at a staggering 1949m, that boasts wonderful views and spaghetti roads are waiting for you. With a little bit of luck you might even see some snow. On the way back down enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, before travelling to San Bartolome for a photo stop.
Move towards Maspalomas, Gran Canarias most popular holiday resort and well-known for its impressive sand dunes. After leaving Maspalomas you will visit Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, at the view point to take some photos of the city from above before going down to Playa the Las Canteras. Before the tour comes to an end, you will have a free time go shopping to the Centre Las Arenas, or explore the area at your leisure.
