It's time to enjoy of the heritages of the Olympic Games and discover one of the most modern and fun areas of Rio de Janeiro in this tour.
After hotel pick ups in the morning, you will head to the port area of Rio, totally rebuilt for the Olympic Games celebrated in the city in 2016. The modernization has transformed it into one of the most revitalized and fun districts of what is known as the ‘wonderful’ city.
Our first stop will be at Pio X Square, home to the iconic Candelaria Church. You will then stroll along the Olympic Boulevard enjoying the spectacular views of Guanabara Bay, while the professional guide tells you all about the history and curiosities of this enchanting avenue.
You will reach the modern Museum of Tomorrow, which has a fascinating exhibition about the science of the future. The building itself is the modern symbol of Rio of Janeiro due to its unique design and architecture, designed by Spanish neofuturistic architect Santiago Calatrava. You will see this beautiful site from the outside.
After, you will catch the tram which will take you into the port and to the famous Kobra Mural, a giant graffiti artwork designed by the Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra. This giant colured wall has become one of the main attractions of Rio.
At last, you will get to the largest aquarium located in South America: the AquaRio. You will be able to visit it and contemplate more than 8000 marine animals of up to 350 different species.
At the end of this amazing tour, you will be dropped off at your selected hotel.
