Escape the hustle and bustle of the city as you adventure along winding panoramic roads in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan to the Amalfi Coast. Nestled along the Sorrentine Peninsula in southern Italy, the Amalfi Coast is home to towering cliffs, hidden coves, picturesque villages and some of the country’s most beautiful coastal scenery.
Admire sweeping views over the Gulf of Naples as you enjoy free time to explore the charming village of Positano. Wander the narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes, and visit the beautiful Santa Maria Assunta Church. Next, head onwards through Praiano, a magnificent valley fortified by rock walls to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town of Amalfi. Upon arrival, you will get to see some of the most important landmarks, including the 9th-century Roman Catholic Amalfi Cathedral, where relics belonging to the Apostle St Andrew are kept.
End your tour with a stroll through the historic town of Ravello, dominated by beautiful cliff-side gardens and listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Whilst here, why not stop for a cup of Italian coffee in the main square, or perhaps discover the beautiful Villa Rufolo (admission not included) — a 13th-century villa with cascading gardens.
