Take advantage of your stay in Lisbon and get to know some of the cities near it with this tour that will take you to the main points of the region in a single day.We will leave Lisbon early in the morning towards our first stop, Sintra. Once there, we will visit the National Palace, declared Patrimony of Humanity, easily recognizable by its two conical chimneys that can be seen from any point of Sintra. Afterwards we will have some free time in the historical part of the city before leaving for Cascais. In Cascais we will visit the historic center, where our guide will discover the secrets of this fishing village located next to some of the best beaches in the region. We will have some free time to have lunch and enjoy them. From here, we will continue with our route to the next stop, the nearby city of Estoril, famous for its past associated with luxury tourism. We will get closer to see his casino, which inspired Ian Fleming to write the novel Casino Royale, the first of the 007 series.
Our last stop will be in Belem, very close to Lisbon, this district located to the west of the center of the city is associated with the first Portuguese explorers. We will pass through the tower of Belem, which was built in order to protect the city from attacks by sea and visit the church of Jeronimos. Late in the afternoon, we will return to Lisbon.
