Wandering through the maze of alleys and narrow streets of Venice is an experience that will not be easily forgotten.
So get aboard our comfortable coach and get ready to enter another world. This city, a top tourist destination is equally as beautiful as interesting.
And, what is more, in Venice the main means of transport is a gondola or a vaporetto, meaning that the city has been entirely built on water!
You will
be amazed by the wealth of art and of elegant palaces dotting the city centre, a real feast for the eyes and a triumph of Baroque style and Rococo.
Your tour leader will take you directly to the
heart of the city itself: the majestic Piazza San Marco, housing the luxurious and radiant St Marks’ Basilica, an incredible example of Venetian Gothic and Byzantine style architecture. You will be amazed by the colourful mosaics decorating the church as well as by the incredible details decorating the façade.
Just a short walk from the Basilica, there is the elegant
Palazzo Ducale, a real masterpiece in terms of elegance and grandeur. Actually, it is no coincidence that this majestic building represented for centuries the seat of the Venetian political power!
Don't miss the chance to
admire the delicate art of glass blowing at an authentic Venetian glass gallery.
Once demonstration is finished, enjoy
free time to discover Venice from the most natural point of view: onboard a gondola (not included)!
You will be amazed by the reflections of the palaces overlooking the canals, as well as by the incredible skills of balance displayed by your personal gondolier.
