Start the day with a journey to the east, to the town of Manacor to visit the Majorica organic pearl factory, home to the world-class production of pearls that are almost indistinguishable from their natural counterparts.
Following a break for lunch (not included) in the picturesque seaside town of Porto Cristo, you will journey to one of the most famous natural gems in Mallorca, The Caves of Drach. This huge underground space, first explored in 1878, offers a wonderful walk long the spectacular natural formations. Be in awe at the amazing stalactites that hang from the ceiling, and the stalagmites rising up from the ground.
Throughout the tour, you will marvel at natures natural beauty before reaching Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world measuring 170m (560ft). It´s here in this idyllic setting, where you will enjoy a 10-minute classical quartet concert, which has been offered to the public since 1935. Should you wish, you can choose to cross the lake via boat, or via the scenic picturesque route.
Along with your guide, you will get to learn about this incredible natural wonder of sprawling underground caverns unbelievable rock formations and lakes.
