General information

Destination
Fuerteventura, Spain

Program details

After departing Corralejo, you will enjoy a scenic cruise towards the fishing port and resort of Playa Blanca in Lanzarote where your guided tour of the neighbouring island’s amazing lava fields will begin. Head towards the fascinating vineyards at La Geria, where you will learn about the unique way of growing vines on volcanic soil and enjoy a taste of a delicious local wine.

At the Timanfaya National Park you will feel the intense underground heat just metres beneath your feet, see with your own eyes how water poured onto the earth turns into a steaming geyser and bushes bursting into flames. Then cross this awe-inspiring landscape, studded with a spectacular series of volcanoes.

Next, continue along the coast, heading for the remote village of El Golfo, where you can admire a green lagoon hidden within a volcanic crater. Then, at Los Hervideros, you can admire the waves breaking into a series of tunnels and caves formed millennia ago by streams of cooling lava. On the way back southwards pass the salt pans at Las Salinas before boarding the boat for the trip back to Fuerteventura. We will arrive back at Corralejo late afternoon, where you bus will be waiting for you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The restaurant where we usually take people who do the Volcán Exprés tour will be closed until approximately May 30th, due to renovations. Therefore, the lunch break will take place in Yaiza after the visit to the Aloe Museum. We recommend to you to bring their own food, although the restaurant 'El Campo' is located there and you can purchase something to eat or drink if they wish.
