Inhale the clean air of Maui’s Hana Coast, rightfully world famous for its lush tropical beauty and constantly shifting vistas, on this fantastic day tour from Oahu. Head out to Maui's east coast to visit the pretty old sugarcane plantation town of Paia, before stopping for pictures at the scenic lookout of Kaumahina State Park and Keanae Valley Lookout. See Puaa Kaa, where waterfalls plunge over basalt rocks and lush vegetation, before heading to Waianapanapa State Park. This remote volcanic coastline is wild and peaceful, with a black volcanic sand beach, plentiful seabirds and original old-growth forest.
Then it's on to Hana Town, one of the most isolated communities in the state, where the Hasegawa family have operated a general store since 1910. Explore the narrow aisles beneath the tin roof and find fishing equipment, candy and neon sunglasses. If the weather is right, take a dip beneath the waterfall at the incredible Ohe'o stream and pools. Finally, survey the Pacific from the Wailua Falls Lookout, and pass the famous windsurfing beaches on your way back to the airport.
