Fly from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon aboard an executive-style light aeroplane to the South Rim,
where you will board a helicopter for a 25-minute exhilarating ride that will soar over the canyon for a 90km (55 miles) stretch.
Float over the Hindu Amphitheatre and see the Temple of Ra, which stands more than 1,800 metres (6,000ft) high. Continue into the Dragon Corridor and over the beautiful Kaibab National Forest, home to the world's largest Ponderosa pines, which have been known to grow to heights beyond 70 metres. Then meet the ‘maker’ of the Grand Canyon: the mighty Colorado River, which, over billions of years carved the gorge as deep as 1.6km (1 mile) into the earth.
After the helicopter ride, you will have time to briefly catch your breath back before arriving at the Grand Canyon National Park, where you get to enjoy awe-inspiring landscapes, panoramic vantage points and trails that can be only accessed by foot from inside the national park. Enjoy the magnificence of the Grand Canyon with a gourmet box lunch at Bright Angel Lodge and browse the souvenir shops to bring yourself something home to help you recall this fabulous day!
