The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, located on the ground floor of the old "Valira" hostel, has become a cultural reference for the country and each once again, a benchmark at European level.
The Museu Carmen Thyssen's activities aim to bring art closer to the greatest number of people, implementing the role of mediator as basis of all your proposals. The implementation of constant innovations is also part of the proactivity that the Museum proposes and characterizes.
The Carmen Thyssen Collection is a private collection that embodies the great interest in art that Baroness Thyssen-Bornemisza has always shown. From its beginnings, it had the active participation of Baron Thyssen, with whom the Baroness undertook her path as a collector. Both brought together a large number of works that today make up the Carmen Thyssen private collection. The museum presents temporary collections that change themes each year.
The visit includes the audio guide to visit the entire exhibition and a musical tour that allows you to listen to contemporary composers of the works. In addition, the room has interactive screens where you can find more extensive information about the artists and the works in maximum resolution.
