Depart from your hotel in Chiang Rai to the Chiang Rai boat pier. The tour starts by taking a long tail boat for approximately an hour over the Maekok River to Baan Ruam Mitra, a traditional Karen hill tribe village. After exploring the village, you will take a boat back to Chiang Rai for lunch at a local restaurant. Then the trip continues by car to Chiang Sean, the historical city dating back more than 700 years. You will visit the area where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) meet, now worldwide known as The Golden Triangle. The last stop is Mae Sai, a small trading town right on The Thailand Myanmar border.
