Program details
Set high amidst magnificent mountain sceneries. The village of Mae Salong was founded by the Koumintang soldiers who fled China after Mao Tse Tung's victory in 1949. There are many fruit wines and liquors on sale in the market. Especially the illegal corn whiskey brewed locally in this district. The tour ends with a visit to Mae Sai, with opportunity for shopping at the flea markets
